players get payed pretty low and if you add up their hours they get payed lower than minimum wage, i wish we could of learned why they switched to the cubs

Players do get payed, but not very much, and it's decided by the Cubs not the Emeralds. Their marketing strategy was to target the public by creating good relationships with everyone.

Another thing that stuck out to me is they all work during off season. The mascot is a green bear because it's more kid friendly but the actual mascot is a Sasquatch.

I thought it was interesting that the Eugene Emeralds do not have a say on how much they pay their players. The Emeralds do a lot of fundraisers to build relationships with fans. The themed games and different specials offered are a good way to bring in more fans.
I learned that the graphic designer doesn't really have business in the off season, which is weird to me because he could still be designing websites and merch and stuff, at least in preparation for baseball season.
How hard is it dealing with guys constantly coming in and out of the program and making adjustments to fill these gaps.
