Image result for unethical sports athletes

What is your reaction to all these athletes and entertainers activities and outcomes.  Is there a pattern?  If you break the law do you lose everything? Is life fair?

  1. I think its terrible that they get away with it. Its seems like actors and people that rap or sing get away with it more than athletes. Idk I dont break the law and nobody said life was going to be fair.

  2. I learned that all of the entertainers got more famous and well known while all of the athletes lost their career by doing these unethical acts, but everyone lost money

  3. As these athletes are apart of a business and their private matters can cause a bad look on the business so its not when surprising they lose money. Most of the time you dont lose everything if you break the law. Life is fair just make good choices

  4. If your an actor or singer and do something bad, you get higher fame most of the time and receive more money, but if your an athlete you get dropped by sponsors and/or fired.

  5. the pattern is if ou make a big enough crime, youll get famous and attention for it and could possibly bring up sales and sponsors but could also come with trouble. some patterns is them losing everything. with hip hop culture it seems that getting into legal trouble can bring u more fame and sales

  6. Athletes lose money, endorsements, and fans. While entertainers do not lose as much, they mostly lose fans

  7. It seemed athletes didn't get a fair outcome compared to entertainers as they usually lost their sponsors, contracts with teams, and fans while entertainers seemed to get even more popular off of their "unethical" behaviors. You don't necessarily lose everything if you break the law but it can be detrimental to what you have and stay with you for life.No life isn't fair.

  8. Sport athlete who have scandal have there career ended due to said scandals. While music artists benefit from having scandal and see a rise in fame and music sales.I conclusion artist are allowed to get away with more things and can have a lot of support due to their music.

  9. I think there is a pattern with when movie stars and other entertainers get into trouble then when athletes and singers get into trouble. Athletes and singers make more money after they get into trouble and movie stars career ends.

  10. I noticed that athletes have a lot more consenquences than entertainers do. Athletes if they make a mistake they lose a ton of money and their career is basically over but entertainers end up more money then they did before. Life is not very fair for the athletes because people are a lot more harsh to them then they are to others.

  11. it's crazy how all these professional athletes go out and break laws when it seems like they have everything, and i believe that they should get treated the same as anyone else and get the same punishments

  12. People in the entertainment industry have a lot of issues; a lot of pressure is on them, and for some reason that makes them feel the need to do a bunch of drugs, or they think it gives them the right to shoot people without repercussions. Maybe they do it for fame, because they feel like they have to. It's dumb, but life isn't fair.

  13. I think it is crazy that at times after an entertainer or athlete commits a crime they can see an increase in success. For athletes it seems if they violate a rule in their sport they face more consequences then if the commit a crime. For rappers in the music industry the pattern I notice is they become more famous if they commit a crime.

  14. i feel like athletes cant really get away with anything but entertainer and artist can get away with more, since they be on the news, people can look up their names and listen to their music or watch their shows.

  15. most of the more popular sports players continued playing, but not so popular sports like golf and cycling they lost everything. a trend i saw was a lot of accusations that came back not true

  16. Unethical actions helped rappers/singers/actors careers and reputation but unethical actions destroyed athletes careers and actions although the athletes still got away with a lot and didn't get punished as bad as a normal person would.

  17. My reaction to all of them is that the athletes that get steroids don't deserve to have a second chance but if you stole something or cheated on your wife or something dumb like that then i think you can have a 2nd chance because we are all human and make dumb choices sometimes. But what i noticed is if your a actor/rapper your bad choices help you way more than being an athlete.

  18. It seems like people doesn't really care if athletes and entertainers does bad things, I feel like the news and social media plays a big part on making people who committed crimes and people who does illegal activities famous. Mostly these people deal with drugs and abusive murdering. If you break the law as a normal civilians you could lose everything but if you are an athlete and entertainer and you break the law you will be famous due to the fact that people in this world like to see bad people famous.

  19. I learned that mostly rappers are the only people who can get away with breaking the law and not having much effect to their career, and when an athlete, entertainer do it it is seen as a horrible thing to where their career will be affected. I think it matters on what they promote and the look they put on.

  20. I think its fair, the reason I say its far is because they don't get punished because they are rich or famous, and they had to work to get where they are, so I feel its earned, also if I was famous and rich I would wanna be above the law.

  21. Athletes seemed to be the ones to get caught and lose everything they built. Meanwhile, performers and actors get away with their unethical actions, even though they may go through a rough patch they are right back on top. Life is not fair because those who make millions tend to still have a lot due to the amount of fans they have.

  22. I think alot of people who see a athlete break a law they try to take everything from them..They are haters and just mad cause they are weak..They wanna see them hurt cause there lifes sucks.

  23. I found it interesting that if you were a performer you could do drugs or anything bad then if you were an athlete you get caught doing those things then your carer is over. And no life is not fair.

  24. I thought it was interesting that depending on the celeb's image and what they're famous for, they were rewarded differently for misconduct. If you're a rapper, crime makes you more famous and popular, whereas the world of sports is less forgiving. Many people gained a lot of attention and popularity form their deeds.

  25. My reaction to most of these actors/singers actions, and outcomes is interesting. What I've noticed is that if you have fame or fortune in America punishment is a lot less harsh. Many famous singers have been convicted of crimes people are paying time for, yet are still walking free. This is unfair towards the rest of society, and we should all be treated equally even when it comes to crime.
