My event doesn't really have any issues with parking. With my event everyone will have plenty of room to park in front of the building. It's about the size of two Walmart parking lots.
For our venue, there will be a large parking lot for regular event goers. But if for some reason there was an outstanding amount of newcomers that showed up at one time, there are additional parking options in the surrounding fields.

Our event is at the Moda center and our parking will be the same as the Portland Trailblazers game. There are surrounding businesses that will be charging for parking and also parking garages. There will also be designated pick up areas for the MAX (rooter bus).

My event is at the old bald knob parking lot in creswell. There is plenty of parking away from the drift track for spectators and there is also a pit area for the compettion cars.
Parking is not an issue because we would use both parking lots of the High School and possibly the back field if we need too. We would charge 2$ to park and the High School would get half of the profits.
Parking could be a potential issue, as people are pretty much continuously in the movie theater, coming in and out. Cars would be in the lot for around 2 hours each, and then more cars would drive in. To fix this, the venue can have multiple modes of access, not just cars. An area for people to park their bikes, near a bus stop, and near enough to some houses for people to walk.
At both of my venues there will be a parking garage that is available to rent and use for the dates of the event. For private venues, parking will have to be discussed when working out the details.

Parking shouldn't be a issue for my events because there isn't a lot of people who go to pool meets so when there is one not a lot of people will need parking, also i have 3 different parking lots that people can park in.

ReplyDeleteFor my event there wont be any parking issues. It's at the fair grounds in eugene and that area has a bug parking lot. parking will be free.

ReplyDeleteThe highschools back parking lot will be what we use for parking and charge 5$ to park there and half of it will be given to the highschool

ReplyDeleteMy event willhave parking on all side roads along the race track from start to finish and their will be a bus that brings people to the event.
